The audit

One document that says what is actually happening.

Eight areas, one scale, and a ranked list of what to do. Every figure traceable to a row in your own data. Two to three weeks. €500 — the founder rate, agreed before I start and invoiced on delivery.

The Business Performance Audit

The cheapest way to find out whether I am any use to you. Everything else starts here.

  • Who it is for

Owners and managing directors of any service business. Hospitality is just the one I have run myself.

  • What it answers

Where are we now, what matters most, and what should happen first, across all eight areas of the business, scored on evidence.

  • How it runs

You tell me what a good year would look like. I collect the evidence, score it, rank it and write it up. Two to three weeks.

  • What happens after

You get a plan you can run yourself, and I will say where that is the right call. If you want me to land it as well, that is the next conversation.

Your numbers stay yours.

You are handing a stranger your P&L, your payroll shape and your booking data. Here is exactly what happens to it.

  • What I ask forOnly what a finding depends on. If a number will not change a recommendation, I do not need it.
  • Where it sitsMy own machine and my own storage. Nothing goes into a shared or consumer tool without your written agreement, and anything that does gets anonymised first.
  • What gets publishedNothing. Not your name, not your city, not a disguised version. The case on this site exists because those owners read it first and said yes.
  • How long I keep itTwenty-four months, then it is deleted. Sooner if you ask.
  • PaperworkAn NDA on request, signed before you send anything. Ask on the call and it takes a day.

No usable numbers yet is a finding, not a problem.

Then the first recommendation is which handful of numbers to start collecting. Once you have them I finish the audit at no extra cost, any time within six months.

€500 is the founder rate.

The practice is new, so the first audits run at this rate — fixed, agreed before I start, invoiced on delivery, and not charged at all if it finds nothing worth it. In return I ask to use the work as a case, anonymised if you want it anonymised.

What you receive

A ranked opportunity map, and the order to fix it.

Every finding is scored on your own numbers and ranked by what it returns against what it costs.

This is what the report looks like. The numbers are from the audit at the end of this page.

What lands in your inbox

This is the actual document, not a promise of one.

Eight to twelve pages: a scorecard, the findings with the number behind each, a ranked map, a ninety-day plan, and a page listing what could not be verified. The one below uses a sample business so you can see the shape.

The promise

If it finds nothing worth €500, you do not pay it.

I would rather tell you in writing that the business is already running well than pad a list to justify an invoice. The audit earns its fee or it is not charged. That is the whole risk you are taking.

How the work continues

The audit comes first. The rest is scoped against it.

The audit comes first. Everything after is scoped against the plan it produces, so you only pay for work the audit has justified.

If this already sounds like your business

You do not have to read to the end.

A thirty-minute call is the fastest way to find out whether an audit would earn its fee for you.

What €500 buys against

The mistake usually costs more than the audit.

47%
of capacity sitting idle, while the plan was to spend more on advertising
a year
of paid staff time, rostered and never sold
3.5×
gap in who kept customers, invisible until someone measured it

Every one of these came out of a single real audit. €500 is what it costs to find out which one is yours — before you spend the money that would have gone the wrong way.

Before you book

Is this even for you?

Filtering yourself out here saves us both a call. I take very few businesses at a time, so I would rather you be the right one.

This is for you if

  • You own or run a service business, and the decisions land on you.
  • You have roughly a year of records — bookings, sales, a roster — even if they are messy.
  • You suspect the growth is already there, but cannot see where.
  • You want the order to fix things, not a list of everything that is wrong.

This is not, if

  • The business is brand-new, with no data yet to read. There is nothing to audit.
  • You want a marketing campaign, not a diagnosis of whether it is the right move.
  • You have already decided, and want someone to agree. I will tell you what the numbers say.
  • You need a cast-iron guarantee it never appears anywhere. That is the default, not a problem — just say so.
Next step

Start with a conversation.

Thirty minutes, no charge, no slides. Tell me what is bothering you about the business. I will say honestly whether an audit would help, or whether you already know the answer.

Who it is for
Owners and managing directors of service businesses.
What happens
A direct call with me, not a sales team.
What you bring
You know the business. I know what to look at.
