About

You work with one person, start to finish.

I run a hotel and a resort’s marketing while I do this. That is the reason the advice is operational, and also the reason I take on very few businesses at once.

Who you work with
Aleksander Lukowicz

It is me. No team, no office.

I am Aleksander Lukowicz. I run a hotel as General Manager, with full P&L and a team of more than forty. I also lead marketing for an alpine resort. Before that I ran a hundred-person rental operation at one of Eastern Europe’s largest mountain destinations.

I run the business, not just advise on it. When I recommend something, I know what it takes to make it work, because I am doing it this week.

For three and a half years I have also advised a small service business outside hospitality, remotely. It is where the method got its first full run.

KOWICZ is new and has no long client list yet. I would rather say that plainly than pretend otherwise.

Where the operating experience comes from.

Not a consulting CV. Each of these is a business I ran or marketed, on the operating side, with the numbers on me.

What I got wrong

The first version of the method was too generous.

Early on I scored a business a three on marketing because the spend existed and the reporting looked organised. It took a retention number to show the spend was feeding a leak, not growth. The score was flattering and wrong.

So the rule changed: nothing scores above two without evidence that a number actually moved because of it. The method got stricter because I was too easy on it once. If it ever flatters your business, it is broken — and I would rather you catch me on it than pay for a comfortable answer.

Before you write

What I do not do.

Saying this now is cheaper for both of us than saying it on the call.

I do not run your adsNo campaign management, no media buying, no content calendar. I will tell you what the numbers say about your spend, and then you or your agency act on it.
I do not build thingsNo websites, no booking engines, no CRM setups. I will specify what needs to exist and why. Someone else builds it.
I do not do turnarounds in a weekThe audit takes two to three weeks and the first real signal comes at thirty days. Anyone promising faster is selling you a feeling.
I do not take work I cannot improveIf your problem is one obvious thing you already know about, I will say so on the call and you keep your money.
I do not work with your competitors at the same timeOne business per market at a time. If that becomes a conflict, you hear it from me first.
I do not guarantee a numberI will show you what the evidence supports and how confident I am. Anyone quoting you a return before looking at your data is guessing.
Next step

Start with a conversation.

Thirty minutes, no charge, no slides. Tell me what is bothering you about the business. I will say honestly whether an audit would help, or whether you already know the answer.

Who it is for
Owners and managing directors of service businesses.
What happens
A direct call with me, not a sales team.
What you bring
You know the business. I know what to look at.
